A.

your kisses were fire,

igniting my mouth into a sea of anarchy.

my intention was love,

while desire got the best of us.

we smoldered into ash;

our investments, crumpled into ether.

my light frozen in time.

I died when I said goodbye

now I shine differently.

my love removed from its resting place.

I am bound up with possibility

no longer swimming in lies.

Unbound from the shackles,

I am now grateful for you

and thankful for a heartbreak

that caused my demise.
